POINT COOK NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

Becoming parents for the first time is so overwhelming and nerve-wracking - let alone discovering at an ultrasound that your baby will need surgery & up to 8 weeks in the NICU after being born - which would end up happening during the first ever COVID lockdown.

This little fighter was born with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, and that scar on his chest is from surgery.

But you know what? This little fighter was discharged at home within 3 weeks. It took a little longer before I was able to meet and photograph him, but I’ll never forget this little face ♥.

It was also so special to me that their maternity session was the last one before our lives changed forever due to lockdown, and his newborn sessions was the first one out of lockdown 🥰

Candy, I hope you can look back on these photos and remember how special this time was for you, thank you for sharing it with me.
