Oh my gosh!!! Lecinda!!! Seriously what have you done to me…been crying since I got the photos!!! I’ll need a whole box of tissues!!! They are so so so special. Thank you for capturing so much more than the images!! We can’t thank you enough for a beautiful oxytocin filled day. Our family are going crrrrrrazy over these photos too. I made my mum cry when I told her what a special photographer you were. Feeling super duper lucky to have found you!!!

Before I picked a photographer I was a bit worried about looking bad or not getting a photo that I would love. I was excited and nervous, but after seeing Lecinda’s profile online I knew she would do a great job. I felt so at home with you Lecinda, when you arrived on my wedding day at the bridal house, I did a big sigh of relief and thought 'phew, Lecinda is here, everything is going to be all right now, she can help me’.
We absolutely love our photos, you captured us perfectly! The first time we watched the video I was crying. My perception of the day was so different to what I saw in the photos ( in a great way). Each time I go back to them I see something different and pick new favourites. I love how you captured all the guests at our wedding, it makes it special for us to look back on. There are some really special photos of me and my mum and my brother, very hard to get a photo of my brother and you captured him perfectly.
You did so much more than take fabulous photos, you coordinated groups, got to know the guests, became part of the party, became my friend. I really appreciate the spent time with us beforehand sorting out the running sheet, we had no idea what we were doing. You knew what to do at each stage first look, pre-ceremony, ceremony, bridal party, family, guests, golden hour, sparklers, party! You had it covered girl!! seriously nailed it!!

When we got our gallery, I can see and remember all the emotions, just like you said we would. You can see us (mostly me) relax way more through the photos. You’ve done such a fantastic job OMG the video made me 😭.

The more I look at them, the more I fall in love with them. you have captured us perfectly and they are so natural and full of love. Our families and friends love them! Thanks for your patience through all my texts and calls and indecision! As well as today letting me change dresses and trying the water shots, even though this meant we took up more of your time. Thank you so much. I was inspired to take professional pictures after my friend passed away from cancer in February. She had the most amazing professional family pictures taken in the months before that. I wanted a memory like that, without being sick.

Cannot begin to explain how amazing Lecinda’s work is. She felt like a friend I had known for ages when I first met her with how she was so easy to talk to and laugh with at my maternity shoot.. I knew before even meeting her though that I would not regret choosing her as my photographer. Lecinda captures everything so beautifully and has an amazing style with how she takes her photos. I cried when I received my maternity and newborn photo gallery.
I’m so in love with my photos and the excitement I felt when I saw those emails telling me my galleries were ready was such an awesome feeling. For anyone sick of highly staged, cookie cutter photos and looking for an awesome photographer in Melbourne - I cannot recommend Lecinda enough. She makes it fun, captures the real you, and does it way that makes you wonder why you were worried beforehand.
I don’t know how she does it but Lecinda has a magical ability to make people relax in front of a camera - I can personally attest to that since I only ever had one smile in front of any camera lens before we met her. We expected forced smiles and instructions for awkward poses but this was so far from the truth. Before taking any photos at all, Lecinda took the time to know us and ask about what we wanted from our session with her. While explaining her philosophy in photography, she seamlessly transitioned from friend to photographer and soon got us running up and down the beach having fun while she was snapping away! I remember going from feeling weird being affectionate in front of someone else, to being so caught up in the moment that when we pulled away from a kiss I thought wait, I don’t think we were even asked to kiss here.
Lecinda’s down-to-earth and genuine personality is really what sets her apart from many photographers I’ve met, where you can tell they’re so comfortable in their work that they simply go through the motions. She cares and it shows through in the session, her photos and advice she gives regarding display options afterwards. We had so much fun during our session with Lecinda and it made such an impact that it was a regular conversation topic for a very long time!
Now that she’s done our engagement photos, we’ve already decided that she’s going to be the one to document the next big steps in our lives as we continue to grow old together (heads up Lecinda!). If you are still hesitating, please don’t - you won’t regret it 🙂

Lecinda recently photographed our newborn session and we cannot thank her enough for the amazing photos and session. From organising the shoot to delivering the end photos, everything was done with so much warmth.
Lecinda was lovely to work with, she had a very alert baby and a very emotional Mummy but she made both of us feel very welcome and at ease. Lecinda has many little tricks to help Bub relax and rest allowing her to capture all the beautiful photos and to keep everyone calm. There was no pressure to get the photos done in a certain time, we just moved through the session stopping when we had to for feeds and settling.
The photos of all 3 of us are stunning and capture the emotions behind such a big event in our lives, I really can’t thank Lecinda enough for her kindness and for capturing this time in our lives.

I always knew I wanted to organise a newborn photo session for when our Bub arrived. I set out doing some research while I was 32 weeks pregnant. There was something about Lecinda’s website, how personable she was and I just loved her relaxed and natural photos. As soon as we spoke on the phone it sealed the deal.
My husband and I decided to book her Bump to Baby Package because I absolutely loved being pregnant and thought it would be lovely to have photos to remember how feminine and in awe of my body I felt.
Best decision EVER!!! Our two photo sessions with Lecinda were so much more than I expected. For one they were such fun, happy, beautiful events that the photos feel like a bonus!! But secondly when we got a sneak peek of our Bump Photos I just burst into tears and turned to my husband and said “okay now I’m ready for baby to come” I realised that capturing the beauty of my pregnany was what I needed to really feel at peace with saying goodbye to my pregnancy chapter and to welcome the next chapter...and baby Poppy came 6 days later!!!
Lecinda captures more than just images, she captures emotion, feelings and memories. I know exactly who will be capturing our special memories from now on! Thank you Lovely Lecinda!

Lecinda made us feel completely comfortable to be ourselves in front of the camera. I was very nervous about getting maternity photos done because I felt so huge and awful but Lecinda made the whole experience fun, and I was thrilled with the photos she took. We have now booked her to do a newborn photo shoot as well.
I think what sets Lecinda apart from other photographers is the effort she puts into getting to know you so that she can tailor a shoot to your own style and preferences. For us that meant including our big crazy doggos! She also offers payment plans and is one of the only photographers we found that includes all of your digitals as part of the base purchase. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

How does she do it?? by it, I mean capture the inner spark of a person's Being, no matter their age, Lecinda makes you feel like she has been by your side since your very first day and like she not there at all, all wrapped in one. Open mouthed kind of ‘wow’!!! To see the photos that you were actually able to capture just blew me away!! My biggest fear was not getting any nice photos and that certainly did not happen!! What actually happened was it being so hard to pick only a certain number of prints when you really want to print them ALL!!
You made it easy and kind of relaxing! I was nervous and stressed going into our first session but quickly learnt that certainly wasn’t the case! Going into our second I was just excited thinking about all the new, beautiful pictures that would soon be on our walls!!
