MELBOURNE SURPRISE PROPOSAL PHOTOGRAPHER

When David’s email first landed in my inbox I may have (totally absolutely) squealed in excitement.

A gay couple from New York City, travelling to Melbourne for a work holiday, with a secret proposal involving custom graffiti art….I mean you would have squealed too right because *dream client alert*.

I was SO excited to meet them both and photograph this magical moment, even the stress of photographing a surprise proposal during a very specific time frame on the cusp of sunset in the middle of a Melbourne winter in one of Melbourne’s tiniest alleyways wasn’t enough to dampen my spirits at capturing this moment for them.

I feel really honoured to have been there to capture the moment Elbert said yes ♥

And I wanted to finally share these photos in honour of these two getting married TODAY - I even got to watch their beautiful ceremony via Facebook livestream 😭🥰.
