A while I ago I posted an ad on Facebook looking for awesome couples to photograph, and when these two lovebirds responded I was a bit excited! Not only did they sound like rad humans (which they are) they sounded ready and willing to have fun, be adventurous and most importantly share their love with me.

Let me ask you a question - how many photos of you and your fiance/husband do you have, that aren’t selfies or taken by a friend on their phone? And out of those photos - how many do you love? Love enough to print and frame? I’m willing to bet it’s not many (and a photo taken by a professional will be 10x better than a selfie on your iPhone)!

And sure - you’ll have plenty of photos on your wedding day, but it’s different. Your wedding day is a planned party, and it goes really, really fast. Your couples session on the other hand?

All about YOU.

There’s often a very different quality to the pictures from these sessions vs the wedding day. You’ll have absolutely nowhere you need to be, no stresses and nobody to focus on but each other. The moments are more personal and private, so of course the pictures will be the same. It’s slow paced, and focused on capturing your every day life in a more relaxed and casual way (wedding threads are not really every day attire).
