POINT COOK NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER

So what can you expect from your newborn photography experience? There are welcome packs and tips and tricks from me, sure! But what about on the day?

How do people *actually* travel and look so dang relaxed all the time?

It’s because I do everything I can to make sure the day is as stress-free as possibe.

The idea of leaving the house by a certain time with a 7 day old baby is enough to give anyone stress ulcers, so instead? You get a two hour window in which to arrive, and your departure time is based around your little one’s feeding schedule (a relaxed mama makes for a much smoother session). And once you get here you can expect to be greeted with an understanding smile, and probably a warm hug (because I’m a hugger). A cup of tea or coffee (or water) and then you’ll need to hand over your baby to me ASAP because I’m going to want ALL the cuddles! I’ve worked with nearly 100 little babies, and I never get sick of those cuddles!

There’s plenty of time to capture all the little things that make your babies unique, like Sasha’s little inquisitive stare, her facial expressions, the way she stretches and her teeny little details. Every session is focused on capturing your sweet little ones just as they are, and I have a large collection of simple wraps and blankets to keep your images natural, and timeless.

While I do my thing, you get to sit back and relax, have a chat with me (and I do regularly get dads napping on the couch in here). And you can expect that you will genuinely have a good time. My clients usually end their session by saying β€œit felt like we were hanging out with an old friend!” or β€œthat was wonderful... we were so worried, but that was totally painless.”

This isn’t just a job for me guys, it’s a calling, a passion. Preserving this season of life for you, and for your little ones. I would give anything to have photos of me and my parents like this when I was a baby - I’m not in for the session, I’m in it for the chance to tell part of your story, to catch a glimpse of your love and bottle it in photos that you will all treasure forever.
