The Internet is a funny old place; I've met the most beautiful people through it - many who are some of my very dearest friends today. Cherie (one half of The Digital Picnic) happens to be one of them, and I thank my lucky stars for the day BlogSpot randomly landed me on her blog way back in the day.
She'll never, ever take credit for it, but honestly I wouldn't be where I am today without her support. I'm not trying ti discount my own talent/skill/whatever you want to call it; but her support and influence honestly propelled me along this path at a hugely accelerated pace; and I'm forever thankful to her for that.
But putting that aside, she's just a genuinely wonderful human (I expect many comments agreeing with me on this point folks, let's shower her with some love).
Watching her grow The Digital Picnic, from her kitchen dining table with her business partner Cat, to the company it is today makes me so full of pride!!! They've come SO FAR in just a few short years, and I'm so excited to see where their new expansion (and awesome team) takes them.
It has been truly an honour to work with them and photograph so much of their journey over the years! Here are a few of my fave photos of these two cuties (and their awesome new team).
Here's what Cherie has to say...
“2 years ago, we invested in “product imagery” with Lecinda. The product? Myself, and my business partner.
We could never have envisioned the response to images of ourselves across our various social media channels would do as well as it has, as we had previously always opted for more “stock imagery”-esque content to share.
The result? The hugest spike in reach, engagement, and ultimately? Conversions.
Nowadays? Lecinda’s regular sessions with us is a no-brainer investment we take on, in order to best market our “product”. We will be forever clients.
She is a genius. x”
